This album is about the current state of the Marat Empire, and how they use their riches to hide from the world's problems.

Emeroch began acting very strangely after we arrived in Meredith. He began acting indecisive and often second-guessed himself. I began to slowly realize that Gaine’s soul, with which Emeroch was combined, was slowly beginning to return. This would mean that Emeroch himself would be erased and killed as Gaine finally reemerged. This meant that I would probably die as well, and Reve’s son, Vari Cathrop, would become himself again, effectively killing me. I didn’t bother me, though. On that day, I would pay for my mistakes. That day however, would come before I expected. The streets of the city of Matheus were in chaos. Bones littered the windy cobblestone roads like trash. People were sobbing and peacekeeping forces were constantly busy. Vant Ruan didn’t seem to mind the invasion as Rowland had hoped. Rowland issued a decree soon afterwards, annexing the Marat Empire as part of the Kingdom of Lavu, causing for massive protests. Vant Ruan still did nothing about this, and instead relaxed in the Presidential palace.
