It was a rainy night, as are a lot of the nights around Blueheart. Usually there's a strange melodic humming that occurs around the midnight hour, but that was not around this time. There was an ominous presence in the air, something that I had felt only around the Nacajda. It felt as though I was being watched. It suddenly occurred to me that Miu was using the opportunity to spy on the villagers while they slept. As I closed my eyes as the rain came down, I saw the image of a large eye, as if it were painted on the inside of my eyelids. I was initially horrified, but for some reason I cannot yet explain, I was not completely uncomfortable with the presence. It was malevolent and filled the air with a certain heaviness, but it wasn't completely undesirable.
