vi. To Consume...

The wall was also built to guard what appeared to be simple grasslands in the area. Again, this is because the Pathiers deemed this site sacred territory that should never be traversed. Naturally, it would make sense that the wall was considered a very holy place for the Pathiers, and that place began to feel the "corruption of the human mind". After years of being a holy shrine, many Pathiers began to feel ill when within the wall, creating a sense of unease that became common. This was called "corruption of the human mind" by religious leaders, who later declared the wall unfit for people. The real reason people were becoming sick is still unclear.
