And speaking of the Disynxiym, Rowland instantly wondered if the story of Reve was actually real. The motherly figure was never quite described in detail from what was left of Dränsilane's writings. Dränsilane had died before he finished the Disynxiym, and Castle Dränsilane was raided of all its treasures by the Kingdom of Lavu and torched, leaders calling the castle an "eyesore", citing the main reason for doing the deed as "solidifying authority" and "jest". The treasures were then sold to random street vendors without a second thought as to their historical value and content. Rowland himself had found the Disynxiym in the rainy street and used it to teach himself how to read.
