The Great Men of the Lord

According to the tome, this is a very rare 3rd Edition of Idil Madgod Hry Chyi. The first two editions were printed by Ui Mial, one of the legendary library publishers on the continent of Mödgod, dedicated to preserving history regardless how perverse. The Great Library of the Isle of Anne, founded by Adelais and Lydia Isga, is the only other library to rival some of the ancient ones that exist on Mödgod. Apparently, they still exist, but no one I know has been to Mödgod for years.

The 1st Edition of Idil Madgod Hry Chyi was published over 2000 years ago in the Marano Language, which is odd considering that Marano was not spoken by the civilian population of Inejeheim until about 1500 years later. Marano is an obscure minority language originating from the Isle of Daei. Swanish is and has been the main language for Daei Islanders since the beginning of time, but Marano was spoken as an even older language by a chosen few in the then fledgling town of Vahn. Vahn exists as a town within an extinct volcano, and was built there to withstand assualt from the outside. Given the small size of Daei, it's unclear what that assault would be from, but perhaps the shallows on the south western part of the island hold some clues. There are odd statues littered all about here, and appearently glow a brilliant neon purple under certain light.

In any case, Marano disappeared entirely from Daei, but somehow turned up in Inejeheim, spoken by a chosen few who were regarded as holy men.

The 2nd Edition of the tome was heavily revised from the 1st Edition, of which no legible copies are known to exist, as the massive low-temperature humidity of Mödgod has caused much of the ink in the last existing tomes to bleed throughout the pages. The 2nd Edition was heavily ammended, modified, and translated to Liia, a language that's supposedly spoken on Mödgod by a select few. Appearently, Idil Madgod Hry Chyi holds relevant information about the history of Zeffon that only people who understand Liia can comprehend. I seriously doubt it, but that's what's been said. The 2nd Edition has copies scattered throughout the globe.

The rare 3rd Edition disappeared entirely from different archives, as if the book was cursed. I myself had a very hard time trying to locate a copy. No more than 55 copies were originally printed. The 3rd Edition is an amended version of the 1st Edition, but the original text has been preserved. It comes in two languages: Marano and Kie. I have a Kie version, since Kie is a language that is spoken by commoners all throughout The Icrifeani and the Chaoslands in general. It's honestly exciting to have a slice of history this big in one's own personal library. Apparently, there's a story in this massive tome that was cut in the 2nd Edition, one I have yet to read. I'll provide an update when I find it.

I have often thought, now that I've read the tome and found out about handroteims, that Zeffon was a tad different from the rest.
