The man is taken to the depths of Castle Dränsilane by the ghost. The ghost informs him that he is no ordinary man.

”You’ve lost your memory, haven’t you?”

The man nodded.

”And your voice for that matter…?”

The man nodded again.

”Now you have a destiny to fulfill, you. It is in Lavu that you will find a beautiful…”

The ghost appeared to be silent for a split second.

”A… beautiful woman named Reve. You can see it too, can’t you?”

The man nodded.

”Yes… Continue on this path in your mind. Here, you will find eternal salvation. You will rule a kingdom, young man. This kingdom will be the bane of all darkness.”

On a mountain pass, below the stars, under the deepest ocean, behind the tallest grassy hill, lies a cave that harnesses the power of the universe. At least, the idol inside it does. Why this power was granted to the Earth may be the mystery of the entire universe. In fact, this idol does not exist, and neither does the cave, for a cave lying where it does would have surely been impossible. And yet, there it is. It stays there, taunting those who cannot reach it, and those who desire the contents within it. This is the Cave of Origin, lying on the infamous Lantern Island. The island itself has only been visited twice. It supposedly lies west of Toú Island, according to the sailors that have made it there. Unfortunately, that was around the time of the reign of the Isgas, leaving very few people to actually put any sort of credence into the story. Not that it was believable anyway. In the history of man (or woman in this case), there was a person born on Lantern Island.
