The Mystery is the man who dares venture into Sharmiah and where it leads. Sharmiah has the ability to use the Mystery, as it is a scholar's curse - a twang - a sitar.

There was a massive famine in the land, and there was an odd glowing orange orb in the sky, as if there was a second sun. During this time, a group of people shrouded in mystery began to spy on the people who lived near Castle Adelais - Adelais herself became enraged with this constant infiltration, and declared war on the mystery people. Eventually, the campaign became so destructive, bloody, and violent, that Castle Adelais was broken into pieces and scattered throughout the land of Zeffon. Adelais disappeared for years after, and the Garonnyte was built over Castle Adelais' cornerstone.
