Dimensional Rift is about a mining community owned by the country of Verimore. Located in the far north on the Stone Isles, they are absolutely frigid, but also subject for a curious phenomenon called a sogidne. A stream of spirits and lost souls are said to be able to be seen from the isle on a blue moon. On one blue moon, Governor No. 8 of Lavu travels to the Stone Isle Mines to see the sogidne for himself. When it occurs, Governor No. 8 becomes frightened, having seen spirits once before within Castle Adelais, while it was being excavated. On the ship home, Governor 8 is visited by a spirit, telling him that he will be punished for defiling the crypt of Adelais...

I woke up in a hospital bed again. I groaned as my stomach began to hurt. Oscar was sitting next to me, and he said that he carried me back to Lavu after I passed out on the road. I believed him. I told him what I had seen in the vision that I had when we encountered Opehla Goesiadu Garma. Oscar nodded and appeared to acknowledge what I said. Just then, some soldiers from Lavu walked into the room. I sat up, but they pointed their pistols at me. I was clearly under arrest.
