lyrics

i. Oármagaon

Horror contains two tracks that were recorded later after the Stormbringer performance, since they were re-discovered after the performance took place. No one knows the significance of the seven new movements.

VII: Catatomentia - Unknown significance. Thought to represent a town sunken in the desert sands west of the Kingdom of Lavu called Oármagaon. Also hypothesized to build off of Movement II: Psychosis.

VIII: Cedij - Represents turmoil in the heavens, as humans fight for an heir for a position of power.

IX: ?

X: ?

After the phonautographs are found for parts 7 and 8 of the Serenade for the Dead, they are stolen by four brothers. These four claim to be representing the "good of humanity", and do everything they can to get in Lavu's way.

The abstract
Painting that rests on the far wall
Can only create
A broken, stagnancy
For the wall
The harvest
Can only create a tragedy
There is nothing left for you here
For whether Dr. Uy is Derek or Nathaniel
You
You will never know for sure
Just as the static meets the Shorelines
You will reap what you sow
For you shall know
That whether Uy is D or N
Is something I have made so

Beyond comprehension
Yet a hair's width away
The dimension Graghgorra rests to stay
In this pit of ultimate despair
Lies the Sorrow, the Horror, and the Mare
The Mandras represent everything mad
Yield to the clot that begs to be filled
Garrison behind the wall that begs to be hallowed
Veer from the path that begs to be followed
For those who are not holy
Shall by the Horror be swallowed

The fanatical fiends of the Cedij being
Claw their way to the stairway to the star ceiling
For in the sky lies the key
To the Strait that was discovered by the Gree
In contrast to the river and shore
There is always someone who wants to have more
More of the sadness, the sorrow, the despair
The annoyances promoted by the old Mare
From this eternal abyss of the sadness
Rise the Mandras, who represent madness
Whether or not the traveler will care
Will then determine how they will fare
For the mind's eye is what stands between you
And the other world to be had
Just be sure it will never drive you mad

Come night!
Come day!
Come eternal abyss!
Though the harvest was lost
Though the harvest was lost
Stay your weapons!
Sheathe your swords!
I mean you no harm at all!
You only need to destroy this wall
And then from the laws of the other world
You shall know all.

...This is a poem that was written a long time ago by a very significant poet going by a variety of names. He's known as "The Phantom Artist", as he has had several identities over the course of many years, and many like to say that he assumes these identities because he's a wandering spirit with regrets. He was once a great king by the name of Myrioc Oear. He's invented several names for himself and invented a past for himself as well. Some of his pseudonyms include Unknown Iahae, Ha Ma, Harris, among others. He's known to play guitar in a canyon that is in the middle of Mödgod, the continent that has the once-great kingdom of Inejeheim as the jewel to its crown. In any case, people say that his poems are prophetic, which is why I include them in this volume.
