It started as a curiosity
Visiting the place where the meteor showers fell
And then I became a slave
To the one who was a slave before
As I walked without turning
Walking towards my doom
I knew that Conan was watching from above

On the first day of her journey, Caria began to travel north of Rasoe on the continent of Unkardia. She had heard that there were snakes in the castle of her great-grandfather, a man named Norfell who stood (at most) two to three feet tall. In the old days, Unkardia was inhabited by people who were short, but the Royal Family's entry to the land caused the people to begin to grow in stature. Supposedly, this lack of height was caused by the snakes that used to live in the land. They began to disappear, but they still existed in Castle Norfell. The reason Caria wanted to find these snakes is that they could speak psychically to one's mind about the mysteries of the universe. She had to be careful though, as the sound of their hiss could turn someone to stone.
