////// From Dränsilane's Disynxiym:

The group of so-called “Pathiers” in the Windy Summit faced many hardships. One of the most prominent of these was the impression that they “liked” their job of holding the highest honors of Lavulese society, since being a member of the Windy Summit was like playing God. They would often attempt to dispel such these rumors, since they did not “like” their job at all. They LOVED their job. Of course, on their list of more realistic issues, they did have something that was bugging them. According to the stories that the Royal Family told, there was a way to find something called a “dimension”. A dimension, as the Windy Summit perceived, would allow the Lavulese to be the first to colonize a new world and reap the profits thereof. Although there were unclaimed lands that existed in the north, these lands would never provide adequate materials for building the empire that the Kingdom of Lavu envisioned. The north could wait. It was the prospect of a new dimension that was the obvious road to success. Thus, the Royal Family began their plan to obtain this technology for their classy, peace-loving friends in Lavu. A certain member of the Terror had informed his superiors of a very tall man with dark hair that hung to his shoulders that was spotted in the Crystal Forest. This man, according to the Terror member’s report could open something called a “rift”, which could lead to another dimension. This member, following the Windy Summit’s request, was immediately tasked with finding this long-haired man, but he would not be successful for a number of days. Meanwhile, Roanin continued to search for Graghgorra, the place that he sought following every day at his job. Nightmare began to look a bit uneasy, but quickly relaxed, and began to make conversation with the boy.

"Did you have any sort of new revelations that occurred during your day at work?"

Roanin thought briefly. There wasn't a lot to think about.

"No..."

"Well then, let's look for a rift, shall we?"

Rifts were small portals that would allow Nightmare and Roanin to sneak through the fabric of space, as if passing through a window into a new world. No one knew about these rifts as far as Roanin was aware. In fact, he felt as though he was the only one who could see them. Knowing of Roanin’s keen ability would have been the subject of much loathing, had he lived across the sea. Despite the Kingdom of Lavu’s efforts to gain similar knowledge there would be a greater group of destructive minds that would crave for Lavu’s extinction. The Kingdom seemed naïve to a point of absurdity to these malevolent forces, and did not deserve to exist. Yet still, the Kingdom remained, as the forces of evil had no means of crushing what they despised, like a bad sore that eventually dies but leaves a nasty scar that will be there forever. The head of the Windy Summit was especially confident that once these “dimensions” were discovered, the Kingdom’s problems would be over. Unfortunately, the technology would be harder to obtain than this particular leader anticipated.

////// From Earth Book I:

The ancient lands that Ryanuaga once moved about,
They have fallen into decay,
Not a typical, but a horrible stench-ridden rot,
No one wants to live there,
But yet they stay.
They have business with the world beneath them,
The Temple of Faces,
The strange temple,
The strange, malevolent temple,
It sits and decays faster than anything on the surface of the Earth.
There sits great evil on top of the deepest throne within the Temple,
The Unknown Beast, which is the sum of the Eresymcaion and Muagarah.
Each beast has their own respective bell,
Be it light or dark.
Eresymcaion the beast, not the god of light,
Possesses the bell of Amma.
Muagarah, the awful beast of darkness,
Possesses the bell of Noor.
The bell of Noor is a strange one,
One that can set about the apocalypse if used incorrectly.
Yet, there is light in the bell of Noor.
The pure of heart.
They are all locked within the bell.
The pure of heart.
They are all locked within the bell.
Do not believe the tales of the Evil Bell of Noor,
For they are false.
Eventually, the Bell of Noor will rise,
It will consume all of us,
You can’t escape, you can’t escape, please, may I ask you all?
Do not trust the moon above the Earth.
The Bell of Noor,
Forged a very long time ago,
Possesses the power to destroy, but also the power to heal.
It is responsible for the rot that consumes the Earth.
But it is also responsible for the survival of the line of Ryanuaga,
For he met the famous Archer Revenge before he was sealed in the castle,
After he died, for 500 years his corpse was walled up in Castle Inejeheim,
The location of the Unkardian throne.
One day, a man had the audacity to open the wall,
And a forest grew across the sea.
