The lands of anyone and everyone shall fall victim to this being eventually. The Unknown Beast is comprised of two warring gods, the Dark God Muagarah, and the Light God Eresymcaion. The component Light God is much weaker than its counterpart, and thus the world is doomed to drown in darkness - it's just a matter of time.
