As the rainfall disappeared, a vortex appeared in the sky, destroying what was left of the awful world. People seemed to solemnly accept the fact that their world was to be destroyed. They were prepared for this. This ended the first part of the current state of the universe as they knew. Before long, the universe was the puppet of a new creator, one that was beyond any other being that had ever been recognized by man. He was the mysterious unknown, and that was all that could be said regarding him, as he could not be comprehended or described accurately with human words. The obedient stage of humanity was over. The sinful stage had begun.

It was only later that Kerragan and his wife had a child. It was a baby boy named Vari.
