That’s when Ryan informed us of something that will continue to haunt me forever. In the past, me, Emeroch, and my father Norfell had abandoned our family in their time of need, taking a secret passage out of the throne room just as three Arc-Demai stormed into the chamber. My mother Mathilda survived, but was distraught for the rest of her life. Our sisters Reve, Adelais, and Lydia were taken by beasts and disappeared.
