Temple of Faces 01:06:06
i. Temple of Faces The Temple of Faces lies beneath the Putrid Sea, built entirely from the spoils of wars. Whether it be riches or skulls, materials obtained through bloodshed are the main components of the structure. Along with endless hallways filled with columns, there are faces on and in the walls that appear to move from time to time. Their origin is unknown. At the very bottom of the temple is a Shrine of Chaos. The Arc-Demai were supposedly birthed in the depths of this shrine, which lies at the very bottom of the temple. Yet it is unknown how deep the temple actually goes. Supposedly, it connects Meredith, Dragös, The Great Limb Forest, Rasoe, a mysterious fifth location, and the bottom of the planet, the Planet Core. At the bottom, there's what is rumored to be an old church bell, one that brings about a terrible curse. According to the texts of old, it was originally forged in the depths of the temple itself, stolen onto a vessel called the Archer Revenge, taken ashore to Dragös, and finally stolen again, becoming the main feature of the Rasoe Bell Tower. Yet, though producing a soothing timbre, it also destroyed more than it created. Or so they say. In a last ditch effort to save their kingdom, the bell was moved into the depths of its origin, sealed with fifteen different tribal magics, and erased throughout many manuscripts. Yet the civilization died anyway. Before they died however, one manuscript was taken to a prosperous civilization on Exeräise. Like the civilization before, Exeräise perished. The manuscript, now called The Ymousde, moved again to another continent before being moved to The Kingdom of Lavu's Royal Archives. It was only discovered again much later, by a detective calling himself Roy, on the tail of a certain Dr. Uy. The curse of the Uaa continues to haunt the race of man...
