At one point in time, Ocsania became haunted by an unknown assailant, who, despite the lack of physical force used to do so, terrorized the townsfolk nevertheless. The townspeople would often have nightmares of self-mutilation, torture, and undead beasts. These nightmares became so uncanny that they sought the help of a sage in Viandor.

”The two invented a device born from their hardships and anger. The device created the odd time rift around Anne, but also began to cause the Earth to decay. People around here in Ocsania began to feel its effects, which manifested themselves as nightmares, for which they sought a sage in Viandor. In any case, in order to achieve a state of immortality that would allow the two monarchs to conquer the world by themselves as revenge, they needed something they named “survival instinct”. This survival instinct would be something that would allow their bodies to innately foresee certain events, such as death, something that was independent of their own minds.”

“A ship left for Viandor around this time. To test their newly found powers, they tried to destroy it. Using their survival instincts to calculate for any mistakes that would other occur, the two ran on the sea and climbed up the side of the ship, killing everyone on board. Dränsilane however, was wounded in the battle, causing them to use their doomsday device to hone their instincts even more. But soon, they realized that there was a fatal flaw that would prevent them from passing a certain “instinct threshold”, one that would cost them their lives.

The idea behind the Technology of the Isgas is that all humans have a “survival instinct”, one that is separate from your conscious mind, one that can be honed so accurately, that mistakes cannot be made, and even the strongest sword can be shattered by another, and even the heaviest man can walk on water.

Through extensive calculations, and with the help of their device, they came up with a plan to conquer even the omnipotent beings in the heavens. They brought the son of Kerragan to the isle as well, then sent both the daughter and the son back in time. The Isga brothers were getting old, and as much as they hated to admit it, they needed heirs to their grand design. Of course, Kerragan’s son and daughter weren’t chosen for any old reason.”

When one looks into a mirror, one has to feel sorry for the being on the other side of the looking glass, for from the moment you look away, the reflection ceases to exist. But then, is it really you looking at a reflection, or are you the reflection, looking at you?

And that was the fear of a man, trapped in a location that was a mystery to him. A fear that if he stopped looking at the mirror in his cell, that the beautiful woman he was gazing upon would disappear forever.

The first piece sounded like what I imagine the red eye storm of Jupiter sounds like with winds blowing hundreds of miles per hour that could shred through flesh like wet tissue. I heard a intriguing bass synthesizer in the background. The second track was more harsh noise with an angelic choir in the background and the final piece was a cacophony of machines. I really don’t like Harsh Noise Wall but I can’t deny that it is art because it can evoke an unsettling feeling. This was not to my taste
