i. Music Box I Yet Another Dimension is about the possibility of a secret group meeting in the impoverished provinces of Blueheart. Even the Secret Police within Lavu seem to know little to nothing about them, other than they exist. The Dark within Ryan stayed in my blood after all those years. After I ran like a coward when my sisters were in danger, me and Emeroch encountered the Nightmare.

ii. Central Square The Nightmare was the talking horse of Aed, who had died cursing my ancestor Ryan. A certain secretive group in Blueheart that was devoted to the re-discovery of the past often talked about Nightmare in the streets of Blueheart during stormy nights. Though they were committed, there was little they could discover on their own.

iii. Music Box II Nightmare was cursed to lead all ancestors of Ryan astray. Even a small boy whom Reve found had been victim to Nightmare’s various ways. It was only after I brought him to the now-sage Yvonne who was married to Ryan all those years ago that she cured Nightmare of his curse. Nightmare can no longer talk, but is still a strong and very capable horse.

iv. The Bending Walls Above Me Nightmare was attracted like Aed was to Dark in Blood. Dark is a magical chemical that can exist in one’s bloodstream, making the able to use a type of magic called Darko. The magic is the same that the Bell of Noor is composed of.

v. Woodlands In order to use Darko, the evil dark god Muagara demands a sacrifice of flesh and blood. The closer you are to death upon your self-mutilation, the stronger you become.

vi. Music Box III The whole reason Aed challenged Ryan in the first place was to obtain Darko for his own use. When Aed was killed, he cursed his horse to hunt down Ryan’s descendants, obtain Darko, and use it to revive Aed himself.

vii. Yet Another Dimension Though this was nearly obtained through me, I was saved. When Nightmare had me cornered and began to extract my energy, I fell into yet another dimension. I don’t fully know the secrets behind dimensions, but I know that they can hold more power and knowledge than anything else. Dimensions are the universe, and should be regarded as such. When I left the dimension, I had survived, but I also had grown quite malevolent under Nightmare’s influence. Me and Emeroch decided to show humanity that Unkardia and Anne were not trivial places to loot and occupy, but legitimate lands of their own. Of course now, I don’t think this way.

viii. Music Box IV Due to Ryan’s obsession of Darko, he used his powers to create the Device. The Device is what me and Emeroch used to hone our Instinct, a discovery that we could not have found with Ryan’s psychic aid. However, the Kingdom of Lavu had discovered this tech as “accident-proofing” technology years before we did. Our methods of honing our bodies were crude at best.
