Ever since Uaa Isga made a deal with the Creator and made everyone immortal (that is, people keep coming back to life), Zeffon had known nothing but misery. But there was something that Kerragan began to hear after he came back to life consistently after around 500 years. He began to hear a voice in his head, someone who wanted him and his family to make it outside of Zeffon and onto the Earth of Reverence.

Lydia, Adelais, and their mother Mathilda were the only humans that had remained fertile after the Creator's fall, after Uaa made the deal. The reason for this is unknown, but not a single human had been born or had arrived in Zeffon since Uaa's apostasy. Then, the first daughter of Reve Isga, Madeline Crowa, had a child with a man named Ross Dylai. This child was named Caria, and was considered to be the Crimson Child, or as the people of Zeffon called her, the Young Queen.

She decided that there was something that had to be done, unless everyone, including her, would die and live again repeatedly until something was changed. She hated watching her mother and father live in misery, as she was apparently well-acquainted with this voice that her grandfather Kerragan Cathrop had come to know, something Kerragan seemed to be impressed by.

To decide the fate of a world
Through the toss of a coin
The Earth may shatter
The lands may flood
The sky may black out the sun
Heads means death

Or is it the other way around?
