The final verses are essential, but non-existent. There is no way we can go back.
In essence, following the discovery of the Royal Family, who had been sealed in Mandra statues, they moved their kingdom to the continent of Exeräise, based on what little real-world authority they had left. This authority was pre-destined though. It was impossible to prevent anyone but the immortal from being the leaders in the forever-Darkness.
They built a castle with their powers, though it was small, it was still grand. A town sprung up, and the once flat continent became rife with mountains. The Magot Tower remained however. No one had the power to remove that, not even the permanent rulers.
Emeroch Isga became the permanent king of the east part of the continent, and he set up another castle to the west, so Reve Isga could rule that domain. Reve refused, and instead gave the throne to Adelais and Lydia Isga. Both, according to her, were more learned in the way of ruling than she was. Reve herself went to the town of Rasoe in Unkardia. All of Unkardia was either dead or abandoned, save for two people. Reve's daughter, Reve Terra Lyeon, had finally found her father Kerragan Cathrop, and the two had met briefly before heading their separate ways. Kerragan left for Fairion, the capital of Oasis. There, he hoped to better understand what had happened to Vari Cathrop, his son and Reve Terra Lyeon's brother. His mind was blank except for the memory of his daughter.
Reve visited the grave of a young man who had died quickly after escaping from Castle Dränsilane. His name was Gaine. The action of possessing the young man was something Dränsilane finally realized in an effort to keep himself immortal. Emeroch found that path through peace. Dränsilane did not.
Emeroch kept his kingdom for years in East Exeräise. His power to foresee conflict gave him that ability. It was given to him quite painfully, as he was born with an eye in the palm of his left hand, but needed one upon his right as well, something very rare, even rarer than the former. A fell beast had attacked him, tearing him apart, spreading his entrails throughout the depths of the forest. The beast then stole Emeroch's left hand. Yet despite the enemy's efforts, Emeroch managed to still revive himself and destroy the beast, whom he says was Muagarah. He has never discussed his methods.
////// From Earth Book I:
We declared it,
And so it shall be,
Corpses mount up and continue to rise.
You are a child of light
You are a child of light
He is a child of darkness, yet he is superior,
For he does not allow for you to follow the path of fathers
Logic, reason, radials, ideals, they are all dead.
The massive pillagers continue to stomp on the dead castle
And yet you do the best you can,
And yet it means nothing,
The fear must change, or be crushed underfoot,
There is a strange atmosphere tonight,
And the night thereafter,
The first night shall remove the river that defends the keep,
The second shall initiate the attack
Blood becomes the river,
The voice of death becomes you,
You are Radio
////// From Fire Book:
I cast fire upon the dancer,
It does no good,
The dancer is a shadow,
Waiting to seduce me,
All I do is flail about,
Trying to destroy it,
And it remains,
And through its spell,
I turn to rust
The voices continue,
And I move through the doors,
The giant pitfalls are obvious,
And I have to make sure I don't fall,
For then I shall be no more,
Yet, the dancer returns,
And tears me apart.
