The Ocean 00:21
i. The Ocean “Miss Lyeon, the ship has departed!” There was silence from behind the door. ”Miss Lyeon?” The room seemed the same as when Stephane had left it. The fact of the matter was, Miss Lyeon was not back yet. That’s all there was to it. Turning to leave, Stephane stepped on a piece of broken glass. “That’s curious,” he thought, picking it up. “It’s almost the same kind of glass that they use on a mirror, judging by the reflective surface of the material. Wait…” Stephane burst back into their leader’s office. The full-length mirror on the wall had been shattered.

ii. Waters of Fortune This marked when Lloyd Cathrop would leave on his adventure to seek fortunes overseas. Or so the people said. In truth, Lloyd was going to find the isle of Anne on the reality plane, establish a base of operations, and work their way from there. The people of the Sharhodeon Territories jovially celebrated his bravery, since no one had ever returned from the ocean in recent times. It was as if the ocean simply swallowed the innocent sailors that dared to sail it. Meanwhile, the Terra Operative was in grave danger. Having lost their leader, there was little they could do regarding their future. Miss Lyeon was one of a kind. It was only after Lloyd had cast off that the Terra Operative realized the magnitude of the danger they were in, and decided to call Lloyd back. Unfortunately, he was already lost.

Anticipation 07:28
iii. Anticipation Years pass, and there is no sign of Lloyd Cathrop or his crew anywhere on the horizon. The Kingdom of Lavu has gotten kind of finicky regarding its territory over the past few years, and there doesn’t seem to seem to be any progress made in colonial negotiations either. The Kingdom of Lavu has been a thorn in the side of the Sharhodeon Territories, ever since the first colonists arrived from the Marat Empire in 1005. Though they were friendly at first, about a century ago, they began to have massive disputes regarding the existence of both the Sharhodeon Territories and the Seraph Territories. Meanwhile, the people on Ibiksis Island were beginning to try to seek independence from the two Territories, whom were constantly fighting over which one of them got to annex the island. Suddenly, amid the various legalities that were swamping the country’s politicians, a ship appeared on the horizon. Lloyd was back.

iv. Gondii Maledicta Lloyd and his crew are discovered to have come down with a certain disease, one that affects their motor skills. Lloyd constantly fades in and out of his illness, but manages to tell some sort of story at the same time. The story Lloyd tells regards a woman named Reve, who has managed to obtain “what they were looking for”. The obtained item itself is said to be a bastard sword of some sort, originally belonging to a one-handed man. A complete account of the story is recorded and then delivered to the leader of the Sharhodeon Territories. These people have completed their task to some degree it seems. Now to remove them from the Well. Or the item in question. Preferably the latter.

Overtaken 03:57
v. Overtaken According to Lloyd, a man named Ryan owned the bastard sword, driven by the death of a loved one to master the blade, despite the absence of his right hand. The man, well renowned for his prowess and skill, became entangled in a job that he was to dutifully fulfill for another man. He later dispatched this enemy and built a marker on top of his corpse. This marker was later adapted and turned into a mysterious tower. Ryan would later become a father figure for the great Archer Revenge, but he mysteriously died in what was only described by a frail Lloyd Cathrop as an “odd circumstance”. Lloyd’s control over his body is later terminated by the disease, which has been established to be some sort of genetically engineered parasite. When Lloyd is put into an asylum after medical treatment is administered, he begins to create all sorts of unusual lopsided machines.
6.
vi. Gondii Maledicta, Pt. 2 A machine is created by Lloyd Cathrop and begins to terrorize the town of Sharhodeon. It is at least as tall as 5 houses, and moves slowly, as though it is limping. It carries a massive arsenal of explosive devices, and is only stopped after the Terra Operative comes and disposes of the machine. This raises questions for the Terra Operative, but mostly for the people. Surely Lloyd Cathrop couldn’t create that machine out of madness. There must have been some other influence, hidden from the public eye. Conspiracies that the government is responsible for both the sickness of Lloyd Cathrop and the destruction he caused later abound in the current state of paranoia.

vii. Hemlock of Society A slow but sure collapse of sanity begins to take the Sharhodeon territories with it. The people, conspirators or not, fall into the groove of revolution, and begin to shout anti-government slogans at various rallies. The Kingdom of Lavu offers no help to the government of the Sharhodeon Territories, despite the multitude of requests for their assistance by various politicians. Eventually, the people begin to raid the presidential palace, tearing down paintings and lighting the palace on fire, trapping the president inside and burning him alive.

viii. The Ocean, Pt. 2 …And to think this began with the Ocean…
9.
ix. Ancestors of the Mist A woman appears on the shores of an unknown land. Everything was going so well. And then, the reality terminated. Her memories of the point onward were just filled with coldness and black. After picking herself up, she realized that she was still alive. In an unknown land perhaps, but she was still alive. Curse everything. Where is everyone? The bastard sword was lost… The woman moved up to a small hill off the sandy beach and lit a fire using the flint she had on her person. And then she saw it. The bastard sword was sitting amongst the dead briars on a grassy knoll. She gingerly pulled it out of the plant, and the put it in the bag she had designed for this purpose. How did it get here? That hardly mattered now. It was time to figure out how to get home.

Echoes... 15:20
x. Echoes… The first of many civilizations to collapse was the Kingdom of Northane, once an item was brought to the wealthy town of Dragös by a man named Archer Revenge on a ship of the same name. The town, followed by the country, collapsed under the influence of the item, but not before it was placed in the depths of where it was supposedly made: in the Temple of Faces. Other civilizations would collapse under its influence as well, but Northane was the first. The process continues to repeat to this day, for all great civilizations shall fall someday, as Northane fell in the past, and Sharhodeon is falling today. And such was the prophecy of the Uaa, the first people to ever collaborate and create a tribe on the face of the Earth. After the prophecy was made, the Uaa suffered a bloody and gruesome fate after crafting what is nowadays known as the Bell of Amma. The Bell of Amma was a gift to the people from far away who said they were building a temple for the sun, the presence that warmed their daily lives. The Uaa knew the dangers of this kind of worship, since they knew that it lead to a degree of pride. Despite this, the Uaa collaborated with the people from far away, and gave them a bell to grace the tower of their new temple. Even though the Uaa constantly looked at the flaws of the other people, they never saw the flaws in themselves. When the harvesting beast came to their villages, they relied on the god they created as well as the idea that they could not fall under his influence. And still, they did. They were no match for the Unknown Beast. And so, they were never heard from ever again.
