Mero Zeffon is a world devastated by conflict, whether it be through the powers of darkness, light, peace, genocide, etc. Every single person uses conflict to tilt the outcome of politics and society in their favor. Some people are trapped in the middle however, and just want to have a way to live. Some are tired. In a town called Mero, the people resisted their government's attempts to lock up anyone associated with "anarchist" group.

ii. Everfrost Some backstory: there is a group of "collaborators of retailers" who "dared" to suggest that the government that oversaw Mero's affairs was treating these individuals unfairly. There were more outspoken members of this protest and some radicalized ones that persisted in creating a volatile situation for the government. These radical individuals became the face of the movement according to the wishes of the government's leadership.

iii. Gnata-Musca Many of these people were told to work in the factories, and that all of their past acts of disobedience would be forgotten if they were to simply continue about their daily lives. Given that the daily lives of some of these collaborators were in tatters, they figured they had nothing to lose. The rest were obligated to assist their comrades.

Lydia told me that she came to check on my mother, and I gave her passage to my mother's room.
