Frogcatcher

Visual Decay 09:25
i. Visual Decay Domnik, the former High Governor of Lavu, flees his country while it is in the midst of a revolution. He receives help from the Seraph Territories, his only remaining ally. The Seraph Territories begin to use harsh political rhetoric to make way for Domnik's escape, threatening to use chemical weapons if they are invaded. Domnik himself recalls one of the now-deceased Kerragan's prophecies about the fall of his empire.

ii. Ymousdeluge In the harbor, Domnik boards a ship called the Red Anchor. When the ship departs, an anonymous man tells Domnik that the Seraph Territories has betrayed him. Instead of Unkardia, the ship is bound for Sharhodeon, where Domnik will be put on trial for crimes against humanity. "Who are you?" "No one you need to know." The man quickly disappears into a crowd of people. Domnik tries to follow, but loses him.

iii. Decaying Angel (Reprise) Later, during a long night on the ship, a sailor discovers the captain has been brutally murdered, with various body parts strewn about the bridge.

iv. XIII: Xezbr One of two pieces of the Serenade for the Dead that Domnik took with him from Lavu.

Mind? 02:33
v. Mind? Domnik wakes up and finds that there's no one on the ship that was full of passengers. He figures he's hallucinating, but as he continues to search, there's no sign of anyone.

Hidden Era 00:36
vi. Hidden Era It becomes clear why there's no one on the ship soon enough. Domnik is approached by ghosts, yet remains unfazed.

vii. Ghost of Someone Else, Long Since Dead The leader of all the other ghosts comes forth. He explains that the ship has just passed through a dimensional vortex in the middle of the Putrid Sea, effectively killing the crew and their companions, as well as all the passengers. The reason Domnik isn't dead is apparently due to his Pathierian blood, the technological race who mastered the art of traveling from world to world. As for their current location, they are now in Graghgorra.

viii. Conrad Small Meanwhile, Conrad Small, former governor No. 2 of the collapsed Kingdom of Lavu still lives in tranquility, despite the massive bounty slapped on his head. This is due to the massive effort that the Lavulese government always undertook to protect their identities; no one knew who they were or are.

ix. Magnamout Secretly however, Conrad searches for Governor No. 1. He wishes to reform the broken empire elsewhere, along with their followers.

Repominae 13:11
x. Repominae Conrad embarks on a journey from the luxury of the former capital city of Lavu to the Seraph Territories to learn about Domnik's whereabouts. Suddenly, when he is approached by two gentlemen when he arrives in La Mont, he is stabbed and beaten. The police quickly arrive at the scene and Conrad is hospitalized.

xi. Poisoned Glass A bedridden Governor No. 2 is force-fed poison in the hospital by doctors due to "orders". Conrad Small quickly passes away.

xii. XI: Opehla Goesiadu Garma The other piece of the Serenade of the Dead that Domnik escaped with.
13.
xiii. Lakeside Cabin When the sun goes down, a mysterious man steals Conrad's body from the city morgue. From there, he carries it on his shoulder and takes it to his lakeside cabin in the Miamat Wastelands...

xiv. Frogcatcher ...And another night passes with no one knowing or seeing...

xv. Vapuora Back in Graghgorra, after trudging through miles of marshes following the head ghost, Domnik makes it to a place where the sun actually shines through the eternal clouds. As his eyes follow the ray of sunlight down to the ground up ahead, he sees an old radio tower with a satellite dish on top of it. He approaches the tower, and finds that it has been abandoned for years and years and years. The ghost tells him that this is the home of the Pathiers, planet Earth.

xvi. The Emperor's Facility A little farther past the radio tower is a large plain. A large green light glows in the distance and seems to be talking and beckoning that Domnik approach it. Regardless of his walking towards it, it seems to be getting farther away...

Bogman 02:36
xvii. Bogman Meanwhile, Dr. Uy continues to venture that Bogman is a member of the sky civilization, one who continues to pretend that he's nothing more than a swamp creature.

Frogcatcher was originally called Catoblepas II, but was later changed.
The story takes place in the year 1423, following the collapse of the Kingdom of Lavu...
