Mr. Paragi wanders outside into the Great Marsh, and ends up sinking into the endless mire. He calls for help, but no one comes to his aid.
Somehow, Mr. Paragi made it out alive. The Great Marsh usually doesn't allow people to escape it, but apparently, this was an exception. and of all places, he found himself in the Valley of Fair Tower.
Meanwhile, another soul wakes up from a long sleep in the town of Gree.
II. Axon
This soul is Kerragan Cathrop, Governor No. 6 of the former of Lavu. After awakening from the sleep, you suddenly reach out towards the ceiling of the hut you're in, hoping to remember something long lost. And then it comes to you. You are not Kerragan, but someone called Gaine. Yes, that must be it. You remember being denied your throne on that desolate hill on Anne. It was a cold day that day, and snow was falling. Your kingdom-to-be-inherited had been on the verge of dying for some time, and soon, the homes of the villagers were empty. You were huddled in the empty castle with your family. And then the Arc-Demai came into the room. The Arc-Demai were the elite guard of the Kingdom and its three castles of the royal family Isga. You ran with your brother and father into a secret passage for some reason. You can't remember why. You have no idea what became of them, or your sisters who were left in the room.
III. Journey Far and Wide
Having sensed that Gaine is finally awake, you proceed into the chamber were you put him. This village of Gree has been abandoned for generations. Being hidden in the Skragg Mountains around superstition-inducing landmarks like Unknown Falls resulted in a lack of trade. Gree never stood a chance.
IV. Untitled
Meanwhile, Du Omerideöth/Castle Adelais has finally been removed from government control, since the government of Lavu no longer exists. People seize the opportunity to explore the desert castle.
V. D.
In an old Lavulese military archive, it is revealed that the Lavulese military was capable of traveling through dimensions, and that they were at constant war with "them". The foes in the document are later described as "mindless wights". It appeared that the Kingdom of Lavu and the Seraph Territories had jointly decided to eliminate the Sharhodeon Territories with a combination of chemical weapons and a special "technique" referred to as "Detenté".
VI. BassSeraph
The conspirators in the Seraph Territories government are apprehended for planning a "routine genocide", as they called it. They are publicly executed within a week, and a provisional government is installed to maintain order.
VII. Toú Empire
Supporters of the old government escape on a ship to the isle of Toú in order to build an empire to stand up against the "evil" they face, and restore the old system, believing the Seraph Territories conspirators to be wrongfully executed. A colony is set up, but when a second ship in pursuit arrives at the tiny island, all that is found are statues with anguished expressions covered in vines.
