Crime of the Curious Adventurer

i. Cuja Awakening The album is about the infiltration of the abandoned city of Port Raiden on the continent of Exeräise, which lies north of the isle of Meredith. Despite the state of the town, the seas surrounding it are supposedly heavily patrolled, puzzling the Sharhodeon spies. During their brief stay in Greyhold, the spies notice the state of the Marat Empire, controlling their citizens through fear. Remembering their mission objectives, they travel to the capital city of Meredith and manage to find a scrapped lifeboat that they can use to travel to Exeräise. Eventually, they make landfall without being detected. Meanwhile, the party that tried to enter the Kingdom of Lavu is found and apprehended. The Sharhodeon Territories instantly condemn the arrests and portray their spies as common adventurers. Despite this, Lavu holds a public celebration of power, showing they're not to be messed with. A conference is held between the leading figures between the two nations, and an agreement is settled upon: The spies will be granted amnesty for their actions, but if this type of espionage is to occur again, the Kingdom of Lavu will consider this an act of war. This worries Sharhodeon, because other spies are still within Lavu's territory completing their missions, and the best the Sharhodeon Territories can do is hope they're not caught. Later, a letter is secretly delivered to the Sharhodeon offices, saying another party of spies has managed to infiltrate the Wind Temple, which Sharhodeon calls Castle Adelais.

ii. Iodine Empire In any case, Derek Unmattias disappeared later on. We checked the vault where we kept the stone head, and the head was still there. I collapse from poison a few days later while walking through one of Blueheart's roads.

iii. Reaching the Ancient City of Meredith With the Marat Empire's help, we managed to establish independence from Lavu. We became a territory of the Marat Empire and part of an alliance with the Icrifeani. The government in Lavu didn't like this at all, and made the decision to invade Blueheart.

iv. A Secret Visit to Port Raiden However, as we prepared for a full-on assault from the Lavulese army, we began to wonder where they were. It had been a full month since the government declared war. The Detective's Guild that I was a part of at the time had essentially become the protectors of Blueheart, and because of that, we made the decision to investigate the lack of military presence in our town.

Victory 06:00
v. Victory It was a short journey north, but we found a small village that the military had been at called Curja. The people there told us that several soldiers had been through the town and that they were headed towards Blueheart at this very moment. Shocked, we headed back about three miles to Blueheart, but found nothing. The citizens in Blueheart seemed equally surprised by the revelation brought on by the people of Curja. Unfazed, we continued to look out for the military, but declared ourselves safe after the space of a month.

vi. Weeping Oaken Tree Thorn came to me later and said that he had seen the most horrid looking individuals near a lake just east of Curja. We followed his directions, thinking we might have found the soldiers of Lavu. However, we found nothing of the sort - no people, no lake. Just a weeping willow, standing in a grassy field.
7.
vii. A Tense Meeting Over Relations and Hot Chocolate We began to re-open the investigation into Derek Unmattias. He had killed several of the civilians of Blueheart in an attempt to uncover the stone head associated with the amber fall (whatever that means). As we were searching for clues, a representative from Lavu came and talked to us. Right off the bat, they accused us of murdering their men, that is, until we proved that our manpower was insufficient to destroy an entire army. They still were irritated when they left, vowing that we would stay a part of Lavu instead of the Marat Empire.
8.
viii. A Hint of Warm Drink and Cold Reality We found the figure we assumed to be Derek Unmattias later, resting on a pile of sticks. Derek seemed to have died from natural causes, but upon closer inspection, he had had the fingers on his left hand chewed off by some massive beast. There was no doubt that Derek had died in great pain. We began to look through different tomes at our own Library of Blueheart regarding the history of a certain beast called the Jalagu, and we were surprised at what we found.
9.
ix. Another Attempt at Castle Adelais Lavu had tried to excavate this castle before, but apparently, there was a second castle in Lavu that had once been constructed under the influence of Adelais Isga. All the Unkardian Royal children had castles of their own; we knew this. However, Castle Adelais was an oddity, as it was built in different portions at the same location, and these portions were scattered about the land, as if to be reassembled in their original location like a giant puzzle.

Wind Temple 12:48
x. Wind Temple We didn't understand much about the pieces, but according to the tome, they are the reason some people like me can phase through dimensions. If one is born in the presence of a part of Adelais' Castle, some creepy things can happen. We can either receive a blessing or a curse. The chances of achieving one or the other is equal. However, even blessings like mine are cursed, as I grow dreadfully ill every time I try to teleport or walk through walls.
